Happy Easter 2008

Happy Easter!
Here are some shots of the kids and our new family on a beautiful Easter Sunday.







Okay so I went crazy with the photo editing...but don't they look great!!
We hope you had a wonderful Easter and we hope you are celebrating salvation everyday because of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Samuel is smiling!! Not every time we try to get him to, but he does sometimes...Reagan can get him to smile more than we can! So cute!

Feb 08

I'll try to be more diligent with posting. It's REALLY hard to keep up with everything! He is officially 1 month old today...wow...time is flying already.

Samuel James is here!

Samuel James was born Feb.6th at 12:28pm
7lbs 14oz 20 1/4in
Labor was an incredible answer to prayer.
We were admitted at about 8:30am, water broke at 11:48am, started pushing at 12:15pm and he was born at 12:28pm. God answered our (and your) prayers for sure!!
Samuel is doing wonderful (and is perfectly healthy!!!) and Esther is recovering really well.
We stayed one night and came home on Thursday evening.
Samuel cried a little after we got home and he woke Reagan up. She got really upset and was crying pretty hard so Brock brought her down to sit with us for a while. She sat with Esther and Samuel and layed her head on him, patted him, kissed him...she just needed to make sure he was okay. She has really taken to him which is another answer to prayer.
These first few days have gone fairly smooth, the first night home was a bit rocky including a 3am run to the store for formula (mamma's milk wasn't in yet and we had a very hungry baby), but other than that it has been really great. He is really a good baby!
We will update more later, just wanted everyone to know Samuel is here and our family is together at home. Here are a few pictures. (TONS more coming in a few days!)












Thank you all more than you know for praying for us. We were so blessed with God's mercy and favor in this process.
We're overwhelmed with gratitude to you all for praying and to our wonderful Father for our new son and wonderful family!

still not here...seriously!! (my birthday and other pictures to share)

My brother is still not here!! Mom is not too happy about that since her due date is today, but she is trying to be patient. She isn't too miserable, more anxious than anything...me and daddy are too!
Come on brother!! We can't wait to meet you!!!
I'm getting ready to take care of our new baby as you can see I've been practicing with my babydoll, Ma-mo:

My brother is still not here...we are all waiting patiently, but I think mom's patience is wearing thin!! Pray he comes soon!! Pray for mom...she's getting ridiculously uncomfortable!!
