Life so close to the floor: July 2006

So much going on! I haven't had much time to update. So here is a recap of the last almost two months. We painted my room (and other parts of our house)...I helped a lot! We went on vacation to Dad's family reunion in North Carolina and I met a lot of family for the first time...including my Great, Great Grandma! We also spent some time with Grandpa and Mama Bea in Virginia. We went to Washington DC!! (Me and mom's first time) My first plane ride too! I did great! I got "wings" from the pilot to prove it! Also, I turned 6 months! Everyone can't believe it has been 6 months already...well, 6 and a half now. I'm only nursing once a day now (I decided I didn't want to nurse...mom didn't like that I rejected her). I'm starting solid food as of today (7-26), just rice cereal for a couple days mom says till I learn how to eat...not that easy you know!

I took us back to our cabin and only saw a few of the fireworks because of a lighting storm right above us.
